Let's Keep Goodness Cycle

Hello, bakers!

How are you?

I just came from Davao City to give three talks on social media storytelling. It was a quick trip, but totally awesome because I know I've helped other people.

Helping others is a natural thing for all of us. It is in our DNA. Parents work hard to bring their kids to the best schools. Teachers work overtime to help students understand their lessons. Older siblings extend support to their younger brothers or sisters so they can graduate.

We help each other because we are wired to love.

And this is why I write recipe e-books. I was once a beginner with so many questions in my mind. My mom, who has been baking since 1970s, has always been there to help. She helped not by baking for me all the time. She helped by letting me bake on my own as a newbie and learn the significant lessons by experience. Whenever I failed, she was always there to tell me what possibly went wrong and encouraged me to do things again with untainted passion.

I want to let this goodness continue on. Thus, I help others learn to bake. I sell e-books, and it doesn't stop there. Whenever the new baker needs more information, I gladly respond for free. Here's my conversation with one of my e-book buyers:

She used the Chocolate Cake recipe from Baking for Newbies e-book and asked for instructions on how to make an anti-gravity cake. When I she sent the pic, joy warmed my heart.

I help because I wish to keep the goodness cycle, and someday, other people will be there to help my children pursue their passions as well.

Just sharing. :)  Hope that you all have a great long weekend ahead! It's a good opportunity to spend time on baking for your loves! Enjoy!
